1 Sep : Chairman, Nagaland Board of School Education, Nini Meru graced the Sacred Heart’s School Khuzama on Parents’ Day as Chief Guest on 30th August 2008. Speaking on the occasion she called upon the students to respect their elders and appealed to the parents to appreciate the teachers for guiding their children.
Principal, Sacred Heart School, Rev. Father Raymond D’ Souza S.J. in his welcome address expressed his immense joy to the chief guest for showing sincerity, simplicity and discipline. He added that the vision of the school is to seek, learn, explore and developed the students to their full potential.
Headmistress of the school, Rev. Sr. Rashmi, proposed the vote of thanks while the invocation prayer was pronounced by Keviselie Simon. Special songs, dances and action songs were presented by the students on the occasion. The programme was also attended by Rev. Father Gregory Coelho, former Regional Superior of North East India of Jesuits, Rev. Fathers Julien Fernandes S.J. Parish Priest, Fr Joe Coelho S.J. principal of Loyola school Jakhama, parents and well wishers.
