Kohima 1 July: Minister for Roads & Bridges Kaito Aye graced the 15th session of Aphuyemi GBs association at Pughoboto as the chief guest on the 28th June 2008 at RD hall, Pughoboto.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest appealed to all the factions and the general public to be conscious and learn lessons from the present situation where thousand of Nagas are suffering due to designs created by our own people. The Minister said Nagas should not forget the uniqueness of our Naga customary law and its practice. He called upon the people and the GBs to remain united and maintain law and order in their village.
The meeting started with invocation prayer by Pastor, Pughoboto Town Baptist Church, Toiho. Welcome address was delivered by President, SAK Hoho Pughoboto while vote of thanks was delivered by Kujhukhu Sheqi.
Other highlights of the programme were presentation of war dance by Khokimi village, folk song by Lazami village, Natsumi village and Mishilimi village. The others who spoke in the meeting included ex MLA Pukhavi and Vijhehoy Swu. The programme was chaired by GB Jihovi.
