Kohima, 28 May: A two wheelers peace rally, organized by the Bible Society of India, Dimapur auxiliary with the theme ‘Teach the Word of God’ made an overnight stopover at Tseminyu Town while en-route to Wokha and Mokokchung.
The team conducted a Gospel service as part of creating awareness on the activity of BSI which is to create awareness amongst people about the impending bi-centenary celebration on 21st February 2011, and to convey the message of peace, love and unity through the words of God.
Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill, Secretary, BSI Dimapur auxiliary lamented that the reason why peoples’ hearts are pre-occupied with fear psychosis, insecurity, hatred and vengeance with one another is due to the absence of the Word of God which the Nagas need as remedy to bring a total transformation and peace in the society.
Wacy Kenth, EAC Tsemenyu, speaking as the Chief Guest said that taking God’s Words and His love for granted has become a habit with the Nagas and in turn we live a trouble ridden life which needs a total change.
Er. Nimo Kath, President, BSI Tsemenyu unit and his team members thanked the Administration, colleges, heads of office, NGOs and public of the Sub-Division for their support and presence during the rally. The service was led by Pastor, Lotha Baptist Church Tsemenyu and General Secretary, BSI Tsemenyu Unit Janbemo Kikon.
