The Manipur unit of the BJP joined hands with the main regional political party Manipur People’s Party (MPP) to fight the forthcoming assembly polls on 28th January.
A spokesman of the MPP on Sunday said his party has joined hands with the BJP to defeat the Congress-led government.BJP national spokesperson Prakash Javedkar and north-east election in-charge Chanderasekhar Rao, who are camping in the state, said, it was now time to bring down the corrupt government of Congress-led secular progressive front ministry in the state.
“The BJP Manipur unit and MPP desired to work together and fight the Congress government to bring a government which would devote to the development, welfare and communal integrity of the state,” said Javedkar.
