It is necessary to provide facilities to young generation for progress. This view was expressed by Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur while inspecting Canoeing Coaching Centre on the banks of the Lower Lake near Fish Aquarium, here today. About 180 trainees from various states of the country are being coached at the centre set up by Madhya Pradesh Canoeing Association.
Minister Shri Gaur interacted with the trainees and enquired about the facilities being extended to them. The trainees informed him that they come to the centre early morning for coaching. Meanwhile, the Urban Administration Minister did some workout on the chest machine at the centre. He instructed officers of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation to construct more sheds for the boats and also expand the existing shed.During the inspection, Shri Gaur instructed to construct a separate change-room for women at Khedapati Hanuman Mandir Ghat situated near Khatlapura. He also gave instructions for replacing the broken tiles of Kali Mandir Ghat near the Lower Lake, fitting pipe in the temple’s drain and taps in the drinking water pipeline.
The Urban Administration Minister inspected the Char Batti Chouraha of Ginnauri and instructed to beautify it. He also inspected the beautification work going on in Ginnauri Park. During the inspection of Ginnauri Ghat, Shri Gaur instructed officers to remove soil that has accumulated near the ghat, divert the water of drain to prevent it from going to the lake and construct roadside drains.
Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s Additional Commissioner Shri Arvind Dubey and officers of various departments were present on this occasion.
