School Education Minister Smt. Archana Chitnis has exhorted students to work hard for achieving success. She asked students to take part in extra-curricular activities of their liking apart from studies with a view to honing their talents. Smt. Chitnis was addressing the inaugural function of Super 50 Scheme at School for Excellence here today. Three children excelling in maths, biology and commerce subjects have been selected under the scheme from all the 50 districts of the state. These children are being provided free lodging and academic facilities at the School for Excellence.Super 50 scheme

The School Education Minister advised students not be disheartened by failures. Doors of success have opened up on many occasions after failure in life. She said that the State Government has launched this scheme with a view to making better educational facilities available to talented children. The Education Minister cited examples of such great persons, who did not get upset with failures, continued to work hard and rose to great heights.
Commissioner Public Instructions, Shri Ashok Varnwal exhorted students to study regularly with concentration. Facility of subject expert will be made available to students to ensure better results. School principal Shri Rajesh Tiwari said that through District Education Officers, the State Government has selected talented students excelling in maths, biology and commerce subjects on the basis of merit lists. The selected students of Class XI and XII have been provided hostel facility at the premises of School for Excellence. Interaction was also made with students during the function.
