The School Education Department is giving incentives to teachers of educational institutions for ensuring better results in the examinations conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education and students for coming out with better performances. Last year, a sum of Rs. 29 lakh 39 thousand was distributed among the teachers under the scheme while funds were made available to 1073 meritorious students for purchasing computers.Under the Shikshak Protsahan Yojna, Rs. four thousand is being given to the teachers of class X for ensuring that 80 percent students pass the exams in first division in general schools and 90 percent in the Excellency Schools and Rs. five thousand is given to the teachers of Class XII for the similar results.
Under the scheme, a sum of Rs. 25 thousand is provided to each student of government schools, who secure 85 percent or more marks in the Board exams, for purchasing computer.
