Sulabh Jan-Suwidha Kendra will be constructed in every ward to facilitate common man. This was said by Urban Administration and Development Minister at the bhumi poojan function of semi-deluxe Sulabh Public Amenity Centre at Gandhinager, Ward No. 1, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh. The function was presided over by area MLA Shri Jitendra Daga.
Minister Shri Gaur said that with a view to facilitating residents of Gandhinagar, the main road of the ward will be constructed with drains on both sides. A health checkup camp will also be organised in the ward soon where specialists of various diseases will examine health of patients and distribute medicines free of cost. He said that other problems of the area will also be considered sympathetically.MLA Shri Jitendra Daga said that residents of the ward as well as passengers will be benefited by the construction of Sulabh Public Amenity Centre near Gandhnagar Bus Stand.
It was informed at the function that Sulabh Jan-Suwidha Kendras are proposed to be constructed at 13 places in gas-affected wards of the city. They include Karond Crossing, Bhopal Memorial Hospital, Gandhinagar, Housing Board Colony Dussehra Maidan, Nav Bahar Subzi Mandi, Krishi Upaj Mandi Berasia Road, DIG Chouraha, Bhanpur Over-bridge, Nadra Bus Stand, Prabhat Petrol Pump, Ashoka Garden Subzi Mandi, Fire Station near Pul Bogda and Motinagar Bypass Road. Earlier, corporator Smt. Ishwari Nathani delivered the welcome address. Area corporator Sushi Shamim Nasir proposed a vote of thanks.
