Higher Education Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma has said that students’ union elections will be conducted in the State. Suggestions for election process have been received from the students, administration, professors and guardians. Election model will soon be decided. Shri Sharma was speaking in a student seminar organised by Akhil Bharitya Vidhyarthi Parishad on national student day here today.
Higher Education Minister Shri Sharma said that present academic session is being observed as ‘quality year’ and educational calendar will be implemented strictly.Shri Sharma said that education should not be commercialized. In order to reach an educational standard, semester system has been improved. Educational institutes, which give an outstanding impression in education sector, will be promoted. Institutes running illegally are facing action. Recently, many decisions have been taken to improve the quality of education.
Education Minister Shri Sharma said that the Parishad meets its objective. Shri Sharma said that Akhik Bhartiya Parishad gained national recognition. The Parishad did good jobs in education, social and Indian culture sectors. The Minister informed that various novel initiatives, besides holding better coordination, are being taken.
Shri Sharma inaugurated free-coaching class for poor girl and boy students. The children will be imparted training of personality development in this class also. Shri Sharma also planted sapling on this occasion.
Officer on special duty of Fee Regulatory Commission Shri Sunil Gupta also expressed his views. Regional organising general secretary Shri Vishnudatt Sharma threw lights on Parishad. State Secretary Sushri Bharti Kumbhare, office bearers and large number of students were present on the occasion.
