Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted with people of forest village Kukru in Bhainsdehi development block of Betul district today and heard their problems. The Chief Minister solved these problems during the interaction itself.
On being informed about drinking water problem by villagers of Kukru, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to include the village in Mukhyamantri Drinking Water Scheme. He said that water should be supplied in the village by laying pipelines from a well or any other water source. He instructed the collector to promote milk production in the village under National Agriculture Extension Scheme. He said that buffaloes of good pedigree should be made available to villagers for milk production and facilities should be provided to villagers to feed their cattle. On being informed that school is far way from the village, the Chief Minister instructed to make arrangements near the village. He also instructed for construction of High School at village Khalma and improving arrangements at veterinary hospital
Shri Chouhan assured to start primary school at village Gwalidhana and construction of pucca road from village Lokaldari to Khalma. He instructed to desilt Khalma reservoir, sanction maximum number of wells under Kapil Dhara Yojna and making available diesel pumps to farmers. On the occasion, he praised the beautiful valleys of village Kukru. The Chief Minister also praised Mawa produced in the village.
Inspection of boys Ashram
Shri Chouhan also inspected Schedule Tribe Boys’ Ashram at village Kukru. He sat among the children having meals at the Ashram and asked about food arrangements. The Chief Minister apprised himself of the menu of food, store and other arrangements. The Chief Minister said that the hostellers should not face any difficulty. Shri Chouhan’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, former MLA Shri Mahendra Singh Chouhan and officers of Forest Department and district administration were also present on the occasion
