Bhopal : With an objective to ensuring cent-percent enrolment of children in schools, participation of every section of society will be ensured. Besides, special attention will also be paid to the tribal districts and colonies of minority communities. This decision was taken at a meeting of Communication Committee chaired by Principal Secretary Finance Shri G.P. Singhal here at Mantralaya today. At the meeting, non-official member Zila Panchayat Indore President Shri Omprakash Parsavadia and Smt. Neeta Sharma, Principal Secretary School Education Shri Rajnish Vaish were also present.It was decided at the meeting that focus would be on wide publicity to the campaign with the help of media. The field activities under the School Chale Hum campaign would be started from June 6 in Madhya Pradesh. Under the campaign, message of the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and School Education Minister will be telecast by Doordarshan and broadcast on radio before the academic session commencing on June 16. Besides, cooperation will be sought from the personalities of films, sports and media sectors apart from public representatives for making the campaign a success. Moreover, it was also decided to create awareness among the people through street plays.
An integrated action plan will be chalked out with a view to ensuring effective implementation of ‘School Chale Hum Abhiyan’ in the State. The officials of concerning departments were present at the meeting.
