he State Government has issued directives to all the district project coordinators with regard to completion of construction works going on under Sarvshiksha Abhiyan in the districts. The government has asked the district project coordinators to complete those works against which completion certificates could not be issued for want of finishing of a few units. In such works, the completion certificates should be issued by June 30 after conducting a campaign to finish the same.Two proformas have been forwarded to the district project coordinators to issue completion certificates of such works the premises of which have already are in use and more than 80 per cent of the cost of construction has already been spent. They have been asked to issue the completion certificates as per the proforma and within the specified time. The project coordinator should get certificate from the assistant engineer, sub engineer (SSA) and the Sarpanch of the Panchayat that the works have been completed properly and under the limit of the sanctioned amount. It should also be certified that a separate completion certificate will be issued after completion of the remaining construction works mentioned in the completion certificate. Moreover, it would also be certified that the construction works have completed as per the certified drawing and sanctioned estimate satisfactorily on dated (whichever be the date), and it is strong.
The completion certificate should also mention the name of the work, place, Gram Panchayat, Development Block, name and details of the implementation agency, details of the administrative sanction, name of the plan, date on which the work started, amount of payment made, amount of valuation, remaining works to be completed as per provisions of the estimation, etc.
