Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that arrangements will be made to impart quality education to tribal students in the tribal areas of the state so that they can get better employment opportunities in this age of competition. Arrangements for best educational institutions and hostels have been made for imparting education to tribal students. He said that the head masters of middles schools of Tribal Welfare Department have been given the status of gazetted officers. This decision will benefit about four thousand teachers. Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Shah was addressing a function at Chhanera (New Harsud) on Monday. He announced that a model school will be built in Chhanera at a cost of Rs. 3.50 crore. Kunwar Vijay Shah performed the bhumi poojan of a girls’ hostel building at Chhanera. On the demand by girl students, he also announced that science faculty will be started in Girls Higher Secondary School from the next academic session. The Tribal Welfare Minister also performed bhumi poojan of Panchayat Bhavan to be built at a cost of Rs. two lakh at village Satri’s rehabilitation site. He announced to construct an Anganwadi in the village at a cost of Rs. eight lakh.
Bhumi poojan of high school at village Barood
Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah performed the bhuni poojan of building of high school at village Barood, which will cost Rs. 54 lakh. The Tribal Welfare Minister said that the State Government is giving importance to school education. Educational institutions are being established only after making a provision to this effect in the budget. Panchayat representatives were present on the occasion.
