Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Narottam Mishra has said that Smart Cards will be provided to people living below poverty line. With the help of Smart Card, a poor person will be able to get free of cost treatment worth up to Rs. 30 thousand for himself and his five family members.
Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that Madhya Pradesh government is committed to providing better health services in the rural areas, especially to weaker sections. Doctors will treat patients free of cost even in the remote areas through mobile hospitals.
The Health Minister said that the State Government is running Mukhyamantri Bal Upchar Yojna. Under the scheme, Madhya Pradesh government will ensure free of cost treatment to children suffering from heart ailments including hole in the heart.At the outset, Shri Mishra flagged off three mobile hospitals under Deendayal Mobile Hospital Scheme. These mobile hospitals will render their services in the rural areas of Datia, Seowdha and Bhander. Every mobile hospital will be manned by a doctor, a trained nurse and a lab technician. Every mobile hospital has a well-equipped lab. With the help of various tests including TB, malaria, blood, urine, sugar, haemoglobin etc conducted at the lab, an MBBS doctor will examine a patient on the spot and give him free medicines. Arrangement of all kind of vaccination have also been made in the mobile hospital.
