Food and Civil supplies Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has stressed the need for paying special attention to quality of education to brighten future of children of schools in tribal areas. Minister Kunwar Shah inaugurated building of a high school costing Rs. 56 lakh at village Bori Sarai in Khandwa district on Saturday.
The Food Minister said that attention to teaching of every child should be paid in the school. He said that arrangements of furniture will be made in the school by August 15. He announced Rs. 30 thousand for water purifier to the school. The Food Minister said that science faculty will also be started in the school soon.
School to be named after Laxmi Bai
Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah said that name of Maharani Laxmi Bai commands respect in the history of India’s freedom struggle. This school is being named after Maharani Laxmi Bai to inspire women of the area. He also referred to a very enlightened woman of the area Smt. Laxmi Bai, who has donated 2 acre land for the school.
Inspects roof of school building
Minister Kunwar Shah went round the newly inaugurated building. He expressed displeasure over leakage of water from the ceiling. The Food Minister directed to withhold remaining payment of construction agency until roof is repaired. He directed to pay special attention to quality at the time of construction of government buildings.
