With the cooperation of School Education Department, a nature camp is being held at Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal with a view to creating awareness and sense of affinity towards forests and wildlife. Under the series, a nature camp was held for 38 school children at Van Vihar today.
On the first day of the series, 38 girl students of Girls Middle School, Govindpura took part in the nature camp. Under the programme, the girl students watched birds and did trekking also. Later, their queries about wild animals were satiated through a presentation. At the end, the girl students also took round of Van Vihar and saw animals.
It may be mentioned that ten nature camps will be held at Van Vihar. For this, the School Education Department has identified schools. Mahatma Gandhi School, Government Naveen School, Arera Colony, Girls School, Barkhera, Girls School, Sultania, Girls School Hamidia, Girls School, Bairagarh, Higher Secondary School, Misrod, Tulsi Nagar and Putlighar will take part in the next nature caps in Van Vihar.
