Trains under Mukhyamantri Teerth-Yatra Yojna left for Rameshwaram from Jabalpur and Jagannath Puri from Gwalior today. At Jabalpur, the train was flagged off by Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Ishwardas Rohani.
The train from Jabalpur to Rameshwaram carried 346 pilgrims from Jabalpur district, 239 from Balaghat, 98 from Dindori, 147 from Mandla and 153 pilgrims from Narsinghpur district. It will return on December 26.
Similarly, the train from Gwalior to Jagannath Puri carried 369 pilgrims from Bhind district, 438 from Gwalior and 172 pilgrims from Datia. This train will return on December 26. Guides to assist pilgrims are also accompanying from every district.
