A master plan will be prepared for development of every village and basic amenities provided on its basis. Lack of funds will be not allowed in development of villages. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated this during tour of villages in Vidisha district today. Shri Chouhan said that villages’ master plans will be prepared by interacting with villagers.
At village Sunpura, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones for Rs. 29 crore construction works. He also announced to open high schools at villages Sunpura and Chheerkheri. Shri Chouhan reached school and sought information from students about books, teaching and other academic activities.
At Nimkhiriya Pathar, the Chief Minister interacted with tribals. He directed to issue residential pattas to them. At village Chheerkhera, he assured leveling of sports ground and provide cricket kits to players.
Shri Chouhan said that state’s power generation capacity has increased from 2900 MW to 11 thousand MW. As a result, villages are getting 24X7 power supply. At village Bagri, he said that piped drinking water will be supplied. He announced Rs. 44 lakh for construction of hostel at Bagri. At village Lashkarpur, the Chief Minister said that Vidisha will be developed as ideal Vidhan Sabha constituency. On students’ demand, he assured to set up exam centre from next session. Shri Chouhan also interacted with villagers and gave patient hearing to them at villages Harukhera, Ganeshpura, Ghat Pipariya and Kheru Ahaat. Zila Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Sunita Sonkar, MLA Shri Surya Prakash Meena and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
