The Chief Secretary Shri Avani Vaish discussed with concerning departments in last phase of review meeting held on the points of resolution-2010 here at Mantralaya today. The Chief Secretary instructed the nodal departments to review the points on prescribed time. Arrangements have been made for regular reviews of maximum resolutions. Out of 70 points of resolution, works have been completed on 22 points.
The Chief Secretary Shri Vaish instructed the officials to provide electric and diesel pumps to the farmers belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribes under Kapildhara Yojna by March 2012. Similarly, Water Resources Department was instructed for regular reviews to increase irrigation capacity by 7.50 lakh hectare in next four years. Shri Vaish also issued directives for the preparation of master plan of villages and holding regular employment fairs.It was informed at the meeting that in line with Kisan Credit Card, loan on working capital is being provided at the rate of three percent on Fishermen Credit Card. It is an important initiative for the economic development of fishermen. Discussions were also held on rehabilitation policy for fishermen, developing green pasture, producing tusser and lac with a view to generating employment opportunities through forest and increasing horticulture crops and preparing soil health cards for scientific agriculture.
Chief Secretary Shri Vaish also apprised himself of progressive works on important points of resolution done by concerning departments. Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries were present during the review meeting.
