Five thousand unemployed educated youths of backward classes will be imparted job-oriented training this year in Madhya Pradesh. The State Government has made a provision of Rs. five crore in its budget for the employment training. During the year 2010-11, about 4,500 unemployed educated youths were imparted job-oriented training. They had imbibed this training through 51 institutions.
The State Government has amended the scheme for skill development and job oriented training for the unemployed persons of backward classes with a view to making the scheme more practical. Under the scheme, training is imparted in banking, insurance, railway, PET/PMT, IT, computer, retail sales marketing etc.
