Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Jai Prakash Hospital will be turned into a 1250-bed hospital. A five-year plan is being chalked out for its expansion. Shri Chouhan gave this information while talking after dedicating homo dialysis machine fitted at a cost of Rs. 6.5 lakh at Jai Prakash Hospital today.
Water Resources & Environment Minister Shri Jayant Malaiya, Minister of State for Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Shri Mahendra Hardia, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Laghu Vanopaj Sahkari Sangh Shri Vishwas Sarang and MLA Shri Dhruvnarayan Singh were also present on the occasion.Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that facility of costly treatment will become available at low cost to the poor due to inception of dialysis machine. He said that the number of patients is constantly rising in 1250 Hospital.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inspected arrangements by visiting various wards of the hospital. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also gave his consent for making available two X-ray machines, memography machine and C.T machine to the hospital.
A power point presentation was made by the hospital management about the requirements of hospital’s expansion and development. Divisional Commissioner Shri Manoj Shrivastava, collector Shri Nikunj Shrivastava, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pankaj Shukla and Hospital Superintendent Dr. Veena Sinha were also present on the occasion.
