The work of giving Unique Identity Card ‘Aadhar Number’ is going on in various districts of the state. In this connection, process of registration of government servants will begin from July 1 in Indore and Chhindwara districts.
Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies Shri Ajit Kesri has informed that the responsibility of registering all the government employees of the districts has been entrusted to the treasury officer of the districts concerned. Presently, ten machines each have been provided to Indore and Chhindwara and the number of machines will be increased immediately after recommendations from the treasury officers so that the registration work can be completed within the stipulated timeframe.Shri Kesri informed that drawl and disbursal officers of various government offices will complete the process of Aadhar Number-related process by obtaining registration forms from the Indore treasury on the basis of the number of government employees available there. He said that registration work is also going on in Shajapur, Dewas, Hoshangabad, Harda and Burhanpur districts. The registration process for Aadhar Number will be started in Indore and Chhindwara districts from July 1 and will also be started soon in other districts. It may be mentioned that so far more than 11 lakh registrations have been made for Aadhar Number in five districts of Madhya Pradesh.
