Fairs should be organised in memory of freedom fighters martyr Tantya Bhil in his working area, Patal Pani and at Bhabra, the birth-place of martyr Chandrashekhar Azad. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave these directives at a review meeting of Culture Department here today. Culture and Public Relations Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma and Chief Secretary Shri Avani Vaish were present at the meeting.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Culture Department should extend its support to ‘Beti Bachao Abhiyan’ and create songs and plays for the campaign in order to disseminate the message of ‘Beti Bachao’ in entire state. The memorial site works being constructed in memory of martyr Tantay Bhil and martyr Bhima Nayak should be completed on time. He instructed to estimate additional required amount for smooth functioning of Bharat Bhawan. The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked the Department to furnish proposal for ‘Pilgrimage Fair Authority’ as expeditiously as possible.175 Crore To Be Spent On Conservation Of Archeological Monuments
The Culture Minister Shri Sharma said that the condition of music colleges would be improved. Azad radio will start airing from next month. A dialect academy has already been set up. It was informed at the meeting that the construction work of Music College is in progress in Ujjain. Warrior memorials will be constructed at 31 places. Besides, a total amount of Rs. 175 crore will also be spent on the conservation and upgradation of archaeological monuments in next five years.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also released three books ‘Bundelkhandi Shabdkosh’, ‘Chambal Ki Wak Paddhati’ and ‘Nimadi’ proverbs published by Culture Department on this occasion. Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Abha Asthana and senior officials were present.
