Around 1900 vacant posts will be filled on contract basis in 313 blocks of 50 districts under Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee scheme.
Panchayat, Rural Development and Social Justice Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava informed that the posts would soon be filled on contract basis in order to make effective implementation of National Employment Guarantee scheme in the State. There were requirements of recruitment against the vacant posts for a long time. After the appointment, the State Government will get actual data of development expeditiously. It will also help in monitoring the scheme.Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee scheme, 1261 posts of sub-engineers, nine posts of senior data manager, 274 posts of data entry operators, nine posts of technical assistant, 313 posts of assistant managers, 10 posts of assistant draftsman and 11 posts of accountant will be filled in the State.
