Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended a discourse on Lord Parshuram here today. Addressing devotees, the Chief Minister said that Lord Parshuram inspired people to fight against injustice and adharma. The state government is developing Lord Parshuram’s birthplace Janapao as a place of spiritual inspiration.
Shri Chouhan said that empowerment of weaker people is a pious work. He said that there is a divine inspiration behind running a hostel for children of poor people of general class by Lord Parshuram Temple Management Committee. Government will cooperate in it. Shri Chouhan felicitated Shri Ramesh Sharma who is giving discourse on Lord Parshuram’s ideals.
Panchayats and Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, Revenue Minister Shri Rampal Singh, MLA Shri Vishwas Sarang and large number of devotees were present on the occasion.

CM Shri Chouhan reached Anand Nagar Kokta and participated in a Roza Aftar. Large number of Rozadars welcomed the Chief Minister. Referring to pious days of Ramazan, the Chief Minister said that it is the month of devotion. MLAs Shri Vishwas Sarang and Shri Surendranath Singh were also present on the occasion.
