14Sep : With the death of five more persons, the swine toll in Madhya Pradesh has risen to 52, health authorities said on Tuesday.
Four persons died of the viral infection in Bhopal and one in Jabalpur in the last four days, they said.
Sangeeta Patel (22), Anwar Jahan (70), Shankar Singh (45) and Sheela Vyas (44) from Bhopal and Sumitra Vishwakarma (30) from Jabalpur succumbed to the viral infection, they said.
Twenty four persons have died of H1N1 in Bhopal alone, followed by 17 in Indore, nine in Jabalpur and one each in Gwalior and Harda district, they said.
Thirty patients with symptoms of swine flu have been admitted to different hospitals on Monday.
