Bhopal:Saturday, June :Farmers Welfare Minister Dr. Ramkrishna Kusmaria has said that in recent years the demand for cereals grown through organic farming has increased and farmers are getting better prices for these products. Under these circumstances, farmers should adopt organic farming. They will be given all possible help in this connection. Agriculture Development Minister Dr Kusmaria was addressing a three-day agriculture science fair at Sagar on Friday.
The Agriculture Development Minister said that a farmer is himself a food scientist who cultivates his land facing all kinds of adversities and turns a good giver for people. He said that it is the need of the hour to maintain fertility of land. The Agriculture Development Minister said that the state government is trying to make agriculture profitable. He said that more efforts will have to be undertaken so that the state emerge as a pioneer in organic farming.
