Bhopal:Saturday, May 3:Special Gram Sabhas would be organised in all the villages of Guna district from May 6 to 8 where villagers would be given detailed information about Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana. Besides, villagers would also be inspired to take advantage of various welfare schemes launched by different departments. Apart from Gram Sabhas, awareness rallies based on Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana would also be taken out in all the villages.
Village-wise nodal officers have been deputed for putting into practice these action plans for effective implementation of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana in Guna district. Under this ambitious scheme of the state government, BPL card holder families are being provided 20 kg food grains per family per month including wheat at the rate of Rs three per kg and rice at Rs 4.50 per kg. The scheme launched in the month of April was inaugurated through Consumer Awareness Camps. Instructions have been issued to distribute food grains in the presence of local Panchayat representatives and members of monitoring committees and Deendayal Antodaya Samitis. The officers deputed at the district level would also monitor the Gram Sabhas.
