Bhopal:Monday, September 1, 2008:The state government has given administrative and financial sanction for construction of 20 Ashram schools for the year 2008-09. These Ashram schools will be built by Tribal Welfare Department in 12 districts each costing Rs 40 lakh. Each Ashram Shala will have 50 seats. These include English medium Ashram schools of Indore and Khandwa.
The schools and districts for which sanction has been given include Boys Ashram Shala Keshwi, Girls Ashram Shala Asapur and Ashram Shala Tanda in Dhar, English medium Boys Ashram Shala in Indore, Girls Ashram Shala Panar in Sheopur, Boys Ashram Shala Uday Nagar in Dewas, Girls Ashram Shala Hardu in Betul, Boys Ashram Shala Atrela in Sidhi, Girls Ashram Shala Linga in Balaghat, Boys Ashram Shalas at Golkheda, Dhabri, Dhakna, Mahelu and Dawania, Girls Ashram Shala Chhanera-Harsud and English medium Ashram Shala in Khandwa city in Khandwa district.
New Boys Ashram Shala buildings will also be constructed at Barda in Alirajpur, Garkamatta in Dindori district, Sustikhera in Badwani district and Manaura in Anuppur district.
