Smt. Chitins has instructed divisional Joint Directors and District Education Officers to implement the educational calendar with sincerity, ensure unit-wise division of courses for time-bound completion, arrange guest teachers etc. She said that beginning of the academic session from July 1 is quite important since text-books have been distributed and studies of the first unit have already been completed in the month of April. Therefore, it is now imperative to ensure that regular studies begin in the schools right from July 1. During the initial period of the new academic session checking of homework given for summer vacations should also be made. The unit of April should also be repeated. Full periods should be conducted even if only one student is present in the classroom.
Smt. Chitnis said that it has been observed that the students who get admission for the first time use to loiter on the school premises needlessly due to which regular classes are not conducted in the name of continuance of admission process. This year, a decision has been taken that this tendency will be done away with firmly. The admission process will be taken up after classes are over. Principals should not remain glued to their chambers but inspect classes and premises from time to time. All works except studies will be taken up after classes are over, she reiterated.
