Bhopal:Thursday, March 27, (Yasha Sharma) A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has approved the new structure of Forest Department today. According to it, Forest Department would now have 13 thousand 997 posts of Forest Guards, four thousand 184 posts of Foresters, 1257
posts of Deputy Rangers, 1192 posts of Rangers, 358 posts of Assistance Conservators of Forests, two thousand 829 posts of clerks, 731 other non-gazetted posts and 24 gazetted posts. The cabinet granted to fill presently vacant posts of Forest Guards and filling of Forest Guards’ posts in coming years in that particular year in which the posts fall vacant.
The cabinet also endorsed the order of the Chief Minister to provide government security up to 31.3.2009 for getting Rs 16 crore loan from Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Bank as working capital by The Morena Zone Cooperative Sugar Mills, Kailaras for sugarcane crushing for the current season 2007-08.
The cabinet also approved the Chief Minister’s order for reopening of Malwa Cooperative Sugar Mills, Barlai, district Indore and financial assistance to Ishwam Cooperative Sugar Mills and Agriculture Industry Ltd Vishrampur, district Khandwa.
The cabinet endorsed the circular issued by the Revenue Department for amendment in Part-6 No-4 of Revenue Book of Circulars. According to it, words ‘earthquake, drought and fire incidents’ were included in the first sentence of paragraph-1 of No-4. The cabinet approved the proposal to delete Sargara caste from the list of backward classes. As per Gazette notification of Government of India dated December 18, 2002, Sargara caste has been included in scheduled tribes. Therefore, approval has been given for the above mentioned amendment in the notification F 23-4-97-54-1 dated April 2, 1997 of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department.
