Bhopal:Thursday, November 13, 2008: ‘Nanhe Kadam’ essay and painting competitions will be organised on Friday, November 14 to mark Children’s Day. These contests will be held at Excellence Schools at the district headquarters. Subjects of the competitions will be India’s freedom struggle and contribution of tribal freedom fighters, public heroes and other great leaders. The competition at Bhopal will be held at Subhash Excellence School, Shivaji Nagar.
The competitions are being organised by Culture Department’s Swaraj Sansthan Sanchanalay with the cooperation of Directorate of Public Instructions. Students of class IX to XII of government and recognised non-government schools can take part in this competition. As many as 800 winners will be given prizes worth Rs one thousand, Rs 500, Rs 300 and Rs 100 respectively.
The winning entries at the district level will be included in the state level competition. The winners of state level competition will be given prizes to the tune of Rs 5000, Rs 3000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively.
