Bhopal:Monday, April 28:The Ambitious Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana to provide foodgrains at subsidised rates to poor families was launched in various districts yesterday. The Ministers, leaders and other public representatives were present at the inaugural functions.Datia: Urban Administration and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr Narottam Mishra inaugurated Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana by presenting a packet containing 20 kg food grains as a token to the beneficiaries who had gathered to attend the function at Mandi premises. Local MLA Dr Kamlapat Arya presided over the function.
The chief guest, Dr Narottam Mishra said that Madhya Pradesh government is sensitive toward problems of poor people, labourers, farmers and women and Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana is one of the proofs of this sensitivity. He said that this scheme is being implemented for the benefit of lakhs of poor families and the Chief Minister has given clear-cut instructions to issue BPL card to every applicant after inspection.
Chhindwara: Madhya Pradesh government has underlined ideals of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya by implementing Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana. The scheme would ensure supply of food grains at low rates to families living below poverty line in this period of rising prices. This initiative of the Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan would prove to be a boon for the poor people. These views were expressed by Maharashtra BJP president and former minister Shri Nitin Gadkari while addressing district level function under the scheme at Polo Ground at Chhindwara. On this occasion he gave away packets containing 20 kg food grains each to 25 beneficiaries as a token. Wheat was provided at the rate of Rs 3 per kg and rice at the rate of Rs 4.50.
Badwani: During four and quarter years rule there has been no discrepancy in the acts and deeds of the present government in the state. As a result, many welfare schemes are under implementation for the welfare of poor people, farmers, women and children. These schemes are bringing about prosperity in the lives of these sections of society apart from helping Madhya Pradesh to tread the path of progress at a fast pace.
These thoughts were expressed by state BJP president Shri Narendra Singh Tomar while launching Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojan at Mandi premises at Badwani. While handing over packets containing 20 kg food grains each to 50 BPL card holder families, he said that this scheme would benefit 45.50 lakh BPL families in the state and 42 BPL families of Badwani district.
On this occasion Jail Minister Shri Antar Singh Arya and state BJP secretary Shri Babu Singh Raghuvanshi gave detailed information to people about Mukhya Mantri Mazdoor Suraksha Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Deendayal Upachar Yojana and other welfare schemes launched by Madhya Pradesh government.
MLA from Anjad Shri Devi Patel, MLA from Badwani Shri Prem Singh Patel and MLA from Rajpur Shri Deewan Singh Patel also addressed the function.
Shajapur: Formal inauguration of Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana was made at Shajapur’s I.T.I. complex by Rajay Sabha member and function’s chief guest Shri Raghunandan Sharma. Minister of State for Tourism, Youth Welfare and Sports Shri Tukojirao Puar presided. Addressing the programme, Shri Sharma said that the Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched this scheme so that poor people can have at least two square meals per day. Any laxity in this scheme’s implementation would not be tolerated. Twenty kilogramme of food grains would be provided per month to each family holding blue ration card under this scheme.
Shri Sharma urged the people to come forward to take advantage of this scheme. Addressing the function Shri Tukoji Rao Puar said described it as a historic day. Shri Puar said that Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana is an effective and important scheme to save people from the burden of dearness. Through this scheme the Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made such an arrangement that the food grains produced in the state would reach its residents alone.
Dhar: Launching Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana in Dhar MP and president of national Mahila Morcha, Smt. Kiran Maheshwari praised this novel scheme. She said that this is a sensitive effort by the Chief Minister for welfare of poor people. Those present on the occasion included Minister of State for Tribal Welfare, Administration and Aviation Smt. Ranjana Baghel, MP Shri Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan, local MLA Shri Jaswant Singh Rathore, collector Shri Rajkumar Pathak, public representatives, officers, journalists and large number of people.
Ratlam: Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana is boon for poor people. This scheme is best and unprecedented in entire country. As many as 95 thousand BPL card holders of Ratlam district would get benefit of this scheme. These views were expressed by Home and Transport Minister Shri Himmat Kothari while launching the scheme at Ratlam at a consumers awareness camp.
Addressing thousands of people at the programme held near Ambedkar Bhawan, Shri Kothari said that lakhs of BPL card holders would get benefit of this scheme. Shri Kothari said that BPL cards of eligible persons have been made but if any eligible person has been left he can apply and he would be issued BPL card after inspection.
Khargone: State BJP president and former Public Relations Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar launched Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana at Bhagwanpura in Khargone. The chief guest and former Public Relations Minister, Shri Tomar said that a number of welfare works have been undertaken by the state government during the last four years. Development schemes are being undertaken in the rural areas on a large scale.
Umaria: Chhattisgarh’s minister Shri Braj Mohan Agrawal inaugurated Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana at the stadium in Umaria. A consumer awareness camp was held for this purpose which was attended by over 15 thousand persons living below poverty line. Shri Braj Mohan Agrawal said that still he regards Madhya Pradesh as his own state since he had been member of its Assembly for 12 years. Criticising the Union government sharply, he said that life has become hell for people ever since Congress has come to power at the Centre. He praised Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister for taking the historic decision to provide wheat at the rate of Rs three per kilogramme and rice at the rate of Rs 4.50 per kilogramme to poor people.
