Bhopal:Monday, October 13, 2008:Tribal Welfare and Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has given instruction to fill the vacant posts in Naveen Eklavya Model Residential Schools at the earliest.
For this purpose, he also called for amending rules and regulations of recruitment. Kunwar Vijay Shah was addressing 14th meeting of Board of Directors of Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential and Ashram Educational Institutions Society. The meeting accorded sanction to the proposal of purchasing 10 each computers for computer labs of eight Eklavya schools and continuation of contractual teachers. It also approved the draft of MoU to be signed with non-government organisations for running schools through private-public participation.
Kunwar Vijay Shah instructed that the vacant posts of lecturer and teacher in Naveen Eklavya Model Residential Schools should be filled at the earliest. He said that teachers be appointed for a specified period. He instructed that contracts of those teachers should be extended who give good performance. The Tribal Welfare Minister also laid emphasis on developing standard labs and good sports grounds in these schools and ensuring better amenities to students.
Commissioner Shri Jaideep Govind informed that meeting of the activities undertaken by the society.
The issues discussed at the meeting included sending proposal of construction Girls Education Complexes to the Union government, according regular pay scale in the appointment on sanctioned posts of contractual teachers in rest of the schools conducted by the committee, increase in quantum of stipends, sanction of 10 computers each for computer labs, continuation of services of P.G.T., T.G.T. contractual teachers appointed in November 2007, reviewing continuation of contractual teachers appointed in August 2007 and approval of draft of MoUs to be signed with non-government organisations for conducting schools through Public-Private Participation.
Those present on the occasion include Commissioner Tribal Development Shri G.S. Netam, Additional Directors Sarvashri R.A. Azad and M.L. Uike, Deputy Commissioner Shri G.K. Prabhakar and many other senior officers.
