Chief Secretary Shri Avani Vaish has instructed all the collectors and commissioners to ensure necessary arrangements for Vanvasi Samman Yatra which will be undertaken by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan from September 25.
Chief Secretary Shri Vaish has instructed all the collectors and commissioners to ensure all the necessary arrangements for Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s Yatra. He has also instructed the collectors to form groups of tribal-dominant development blocks and organise problem redressal camp in the largest village of the group before the Chief Minister’s Yatra. They have also been told to ensure presence of block level officers of government departments at these camps.
Chief Secretary Shri Vaish has instructed the collectors and commissioners to give special attention to the main objectives of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s Vanvasi Samman Yatra including effective implementation of Forest Rights Act, extending benefits of various schemes to tribals and development works in tribal-dominant areas. This Yatra will pass through selected villages of tribal-dominant districts. The applications for availing benefits of various government schemes will be disposed of during the Yatra. The department-wise, village-wise and applicant-wise details will be maintained by the collectors so that immediate action can be taken on these applications during the Chief Minister’s Yatra. Chief Secretary Shri Vaish has instructed the collectors to convey the exact date and time of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s Yatra to tribals.
