Bhopal:Saturday, July 5:Study of many important and job-oriented subjects has been incorporated from the current academic session in the post-graduate diploma course for tourism and hotel management being conducted in BHEL-based Government Post-Graduate College in the state capital. Now the students would be able to easily seek a number of lucrative career options in this industry. Meanwhile, admissions to this course are going on in BHEL College.
Keeping the present-day requirements in mind, the Barkatullah University Study Circle has extended the ambit of one-year post-graduate diploma course for tourism and hotel management and incorporated in it subjects of air travel, ticketing, role of hotel and restaurant association of India, contribution of International Hoteliers’ Association, management information system, database management approach, online air ticketing, railway ticketing and hotel booking etc. Under these courses, students would be prepared to solve exam papers on the subjects of socio-cultural introduction to India, tourism principles and practices, transport and travel agency and computer applications apart from practicals including project report, tour report etc.
