Bhopal:Thursday, December 11, 2008:Applications have been invited by December 20, 2008 from scheduled tribes girls and boys for undergoing training in various trades at Professional Training Centre at Government Higher Secondary School at Peethampur in Dhar district. The centre is being run by Tribal Welfare Department. The training will begin from January 1, 2009. This training is meant for only those tribal youths who have either completed their education or have dropped out.
In group A, training for repair of electric appliances, house wiring and transformer electric motor rewinding will be given. The group B batch will be for training in computer data operator, computer graphic designer and animation. Twenty-five each seats are available for admission in these trades, duration of which will be three months. An applicant will be eligible for admission in only one trade at a time. The applicant will also not be eligible for applying for training for any other vocational training centre.
An applicant must be eighth pass. Priority will be given to tenth pass. Documents necessary for admission include domicile certificate, caste certificate, certificate of educational qualification, school leaving certificate and two black and while photographs. The applications will be entertained during working hours by December 20, 2008. The application forms can be sent to Shri G.P. Sharma, principal/manager, Professional Training Centre, Government Higher Secondary School, Peethampur, Near Dak Bungalow, District Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, pin code-454775. Interviews will be held on December 31, 2008 at 11.30 am. For this no travel allowance will be paid. All the required documents will have to be produced by the candidate at the time of the interview.
The candidates will be selected by district level selection committee. During the training period, every selected trainee will be given Rs 350 per month stipend as per government rule. The trainees will have to make their own arrangements for bed and food.
