Bhopal:Friday, November 28, 2008:Application forms have been invited from students belonging to Madhya Pradesh as well as other states for admission to various paramedical courses in Pandit Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurved College and Institute, Bhopal. Twenty-five percent vacant seats are available for applicants from outside Madhya Pradesh. In case, outsider candidates are not available, these seats will be filled by the candidates from the state.
The paramedical sources for which admissions are to be given include 50 seats for D. Pharma (Ayurved) out of which 25 are unreserved and eight, ten and seven percent seats are reserved for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes respectively. Minimum educational qualification is 10+2 (bio group) pass. Duration of the course is two years.
Similarly, 33 seats are vacant for Woman Ayurvedic Health Worker’s training course. Out of these eight seats are unreserved while eight, ten and seven seats are reserved for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes respectively. Minimum educational qualification for seeking admission to this course is 10+2 in any subject. Duration of the course is one year.
For Panchkarm technician 38 seats are available including 14 unreserved and eight, 10 and eight seats reserved for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes respectively. Minimum educational qualification for admission is 10+2 bio group or equivalent and the duration is one year.
The candidates should submit their application forms with necessary attachments by November 30, 2008 to the office of the principal, Pandit Khushilal Sharma Ayurved College and Institution, Science Hill, behind MANIT, Kolar-Nehru Nagar bypass road, Bhopal after depositing prescribed fees. No applications will be entertained after November 30.
Along with the application form an unreserved candidate will have to attach a Rs 200 bank draft while a candidate belonging to reserved categories will be required to attach a bank draft to the tune of Rs 100. The draft will be drawn in the name of Principal Pandit Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurved College and Institute, Bhopal. Fees for D. Pharma for the first year will be Rs 23,000 and Rs 18,000 for the second year. The fees for Panchkarm technician and Woman Health Worker Training Course have been fixed at Rs 18,000. For D. Pharma course recognition by the university is expected.
A candidate must not be below 17 years of age. In the case of candidates belonging to reserve classes, copy of caste certificate duly attested by a competent authority will have to be attached with the application form. The reserved category candidate must be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh. Separate application forms will have to be submitted for different courses.
