Bhopal:Friday, July 18:The Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, Air Marshal P.P. Rajkumar called on the Governor, Dr. Balram Jakhar at Raj Bhawan here today.
During the meeting, the visiting Air Marshal apprised the Governor of the security of the country and the state and informed him about the rescue and relief operations of Air Force in flood-affected areas.
It may be mentioned that Air Marshal P.P. Rajkumar got commission as a Helicopter Pilot in July 1969. Having completed 16 thousand 500 hours of flying, he is one of the outstanding flying instructors and pilot examiners of the country. In recognition of his outstanding services to the Indian Air Force, the President has recently decorated him with the Param Vishishta Seva Medal.
