Bhopal:April 9, 2008:A 60-day action plan has been chalked out with a view to ensuing educational quality in the educational institutions being run by Tribal Welfare Department. For this purpose a calendar has been prepared for assessment of all the activities of the schools during summer vacations.
Under the departmental schemes, assessment of important activities would be undertaken from April 15 to June 23, 2008 in higher secondary, high, middle and primary schools. It would be ensured that there is no lack of necessary resources for students and educational atmosphere there. Commissioner Tribal Development Shri JN Kansotiya has instructed all the district collectors to see that all necessary arrangements for students of the schools under the department are completed before start of the new session.
The agenda of assessment also includes review of last year’s exam results, availability of furniture for every student, arrangements of laboratory and library, internal and external arrangements, action plan for the new session, training of teachers and arrangement of visiting teachers etc. This would ensure availability of necessary arrangements in the schools run by the department and at the same time special strategy could be chalked out for the next academic session.
During the action plan period, necessities of schools would be reviewed from April 15 to 19. Review of allotment as per requirements would be undertaken from April 20 to 22. Internal and external arrangements would be reviewed from April 23 to June 20 and from April 30 to June 30 respectively. Similarly, the period for assessment of educational arrangements has been set from April 20 to June 23.
District collectors have been instructed to undertake fortnightly review of all the arrangements at the schools. Besides, they have been asked to send action taken report through demi-official letter by June 25, 2008 to Commissioner Tribal Development.
