It has been made clear in the letter sent to the district collectors that the declining girl ratio has become a matter of serious concern. Therefore, it needs to take concrete step in this direction. The letter stressed on taking effective measures to prevent pre-natal tests and cases of foeticide. Apart from the various activities, discussions will be held with the officers through videoconferencing about the campaign.
Why do not the government/s simply change the system through mandatory stern law that the dowry shall be given by the boys sides & the parents of the girls are not bound & supposed to give anything except a grown up daughter to take care of the household, her husband, his parents & the progeny as result of their co- inhibition as married couple?
The violators of this law should be punished with slashing of 10 canes on the Buttocks of the male or husband in the public view & thereafter sent to jail for six months, to undergo rigorous imprisonment Or be ordered to pay 50% of income as sustenance allowance to the better half.
After the enactment of the said law see the difference that how the girl / female child will get a respectable status in the Indian Society, lest all efforts are not going to deliver any result, is cent per cent certain—dr.amritgaur
