Energy & Mineral Resources Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that as per the State Government’s commitment, abundant power will be available in rural areas of the state from year 2013 following feeder separation. Shri Shukla was inaugurating renovated offices of Power Distribution Company at Amarpatan in Satna district on Friday. He said that electricity billing and ATP machines will be installed in Amarpatan sub-division. The function was presided over by Member of Parliament Shri Ganesh Singh. MLA Shri Ram Khilawan Patel and several other people’s representatives were present on the occasion.
Shri Shukla said that the State Government has taken up the ambitious feeder separation scheme with a view to fulfil its commitment to supply 24-hour power to rural areas. Giving information about sending information for replacing transformer through SMS, the Energy Minister informed that it has been made mandatory to replace defunct transformer on the fourth day of receiving information. Shri Shukla also gave information about Hitkarni Yojna implemented for BPL and urban poor electricity consumers.
