Madhya Pradesh : People have great faith in the agencies making available basic amenities in cities. On some occasions, work is not done and only assurance is given. Providing wrong information about work became cause of suspension of an assistant engineer of Bhopal Municipal Corporation. The action was taken on wrong information about filling up potholes on the roads in Arvind Vihar areas. People register complaints in CM Helpline for various problems including improvement of roads, lifting of animal carcasses, water supply through tankers, lake conservation and beautification. Chief Minister’s office reviews complaints registred in CM Helpline time to time.
Bhopal resident Shri Umashankar Tiwari complained to CM’s Office today that he had registered a complaint regarding filling up of potholes on the road with CM Helpline thrice. On complaining again, concerning officer of Bhopal Municipal Corporation informed that potholes have been filled. But this work was not done. The complainant gave information again today that no action has been taken on his complaint. Secretary to CM Shri Hari Ranjan Rao drew attention of Commissioner Bhopal Municipal Corporation towards this following which assistant engineer Shri H.S. Bedi was found guilty and suspended.
Rs. 5 thousand fine on tahsildar
Rs. 5 thousand fine has been imposed on tahsildar Ambah/Porsa in Morena district Shri Naresh Gupta for failure to provide Notified Service Undisputed Mutation and Land Rights Book. On the complaints of Morena district’s applicant Shri Manoj Singh Tomar, patwari Shri Om Prakash was suspended for demanding graft. The applicant had made a complaint to this effect to CM’s Helpline.
