Srinagar, March 16 (INFO)- An amount of Rs. 1100 crore are being utilized under PMGSY in the state for connecting all rural areas with main towns.
This was stated today by the Minister for R&B, Jugal Kishore while inspecting 880 metre long flyover under construction at Hyderpora By-Pass. He stressed upon the concerned for speedy completion of the flyover.
The Minister was told that Rs. 63 crore have been earmarked for its flyover, of which Rs. 20 crore have been utilized so far. He was further told that the flyover is expected to be completed soon.
He was informed that after its completion, traffic pressure in Srinagar city and district Budgam would be minimized to a great extent. Earlier, Mr. Jugal Kishore and Minister for Social Welfare Mr. A.G. Vakil planted chinar saplings at Jehangir Chowk, Srinagar and Pantha Chowk By-Pass.
