21 Sep :Sangarsh- A movement for Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood held a meeting at its headquarter near University of Jammu campus and Strongly condemned the action taken by sate administration on the members of SAYSS near Abhinav Theatre, Jammu and attack by police cops on BJYM State Vice President Mr. Narotan Sharma here at Link Road Chowk, Jammu.
Releasing a press statement the members of the Sangarsh movement held the attack on BJYM leader as the Gunda face of "Khaki" and alleged that by this way the police administration is trying to provoke the peace loving people of Jammu region. They alleged that it appear that this way the Police administration trying to put the peaceful people of Jammu into flames by hobnobbing with Jai Chands.
The activists of the Sangarsh movement passed a resolution in which they appealed to the Hon’ble Governor Jammu and Kashmir state N.N. Vohra to personally intervene into the matter and to terminate the services of the alleged cops besides setting judicial enquiry over the incident so that the faith of the people of Jammu may alive on law and order.
Sangarsh demanded the dismissal of the alleged cops involved in brutal attack on Mr. Narotam Sharma yesterday. The activists of the movement warned that if the higher administration gives a free hand to such police cops who under the shadow of their uniform act like this than it will result in a negative way and the administration has to pay for that.
Further the activists of the movement held that right to have peaceful demonstrations, public gatherings and to form associations is reserved under Indian constitution and the act of police to disturb the public gathering and peaceful public ceremony to pay homage the martyrs is just shameful act and is provoking the sentiments of people to stand for another stir in the region.
