S. Balwinder Singh, National Conference Youth leader, alongwith his fifty supporters today joined Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at the party headquarters. They were welcomed into the Yuva Morcha by BJP State Secretary S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa and BJYM State President Pawan Khajuria.
Pawan Khajuria, while welcoming the new entrants, said that the youth of the state has now realized that it is the BJP and its yuva morcha which have been expressing concern for the welfare of the youth and mitigation of their sufferings. He said the anti-youth policies of the present Congress-led coalition have no jobs for the highly unemployed youth. This government is treating the youth as criminals and they are lathi-charged even when they demand their adjustments in peaceful manner. He asked the coalition government to abandon its anti-youth policies and take immediate and effective steps to provide jobs to them.
S. Balwinder Singh, on this occasion, thanked the party leaders for extending a warm reception to him and his colleagues on joining BJYM and assured that he would work whole heartedly to strengthen BJP amongst the masses.
Gurpreet Singh, Rupinder Singh, Kanwaljit Singh, Amrik singh, Rajinder Singh, Surinder Singh, Surjeet Singh, J.P.Singh, Mukerjeet Singh, Ripudaman Singh, Jeet Singh, Paramjit Singh,Jagjit Singh, Parvinder Singh were prominent among those who joined BJYM.
State Secretary S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Press Secretary Balbir Ram, senior leader S. Virenderjit Singh, Mandal President Vikram Randhawa, BJYM vice-president Munish Sharma, Gen. Secretary Rajiv Charak and BJYM Distt. President Pranav Gupta and JMC Councillor Shubh Chander Verma were prominent among those who also garlanded the new entrants into the partyfold.
