9 June Jammu : At function organized by Swami ji Yoga Sewa Sansthan, Rich tributes were paid to Swami Dhirendar Brahmchari on his 21st death anniversary. Swami Dihendera Brahmchari who passed away on June 9,1994 was an Internationally renowned Yoga and Spiritual Guru.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. M. K Bhardwaj, Senior Advocate and a prominent social worker of Jammu said that Swami ji had immensely contributed in the spiritual harnessing if the Jammu and Kashmir State and Jammu region in Particular. He recollected that Swamiji who was an International Figure propagated Yoga and spiritualism amongst the society. Mr. Bhardwaj added that Swamiji had during his lifetime had established excellent centers of Yoga across the country. His fame was not just limited to Jammu and Kashmir or India but was followed Globally. He further added that the Government had forgotten his contribution to the state and the society.
Mr. Bhardwaj said that the properties of Swami ji which are spread across India and specially in Jammu and Kashmir should be utilised for the propagation of yoga and the Government should establish a University of Yoga Sciences in the properties of late Swami ji. He further added that Swamiji himself had renounced the world and all his relation and devoted himself to the service of almighty and mankind. The properties of Swamiji in Gurgaon, Jammu and Udhampur should be entirely used to propagate the development and practice of Yoga and spiritual sciences and should be dedicated to the public in the memory of Swamiji.
Speaking on the occasion Smt. Simran Sethi who is also the chairperson of the Swamiji Yoga and Sewa Sansthan apprised the young generation among the audience about the life and philosophy of late Swamiji. She said that Swamiji who was an international figure originally hailed from Bihar but had made Jammu is home and had developed many yoga and spiritual centers in the state and across India. His followers and disciples and across the globe remember him with immense respect and regard. While paying rich tributes for to Swamiji she appealed to the followers of Swamiji across the globe to come together to and propagate the unfinished agenda of Swamiji and requested followers of Swamiji to get in touch with her on her email swamijiyogasansthan@gmail.com so that collective efforts can be made to promote yoga in today’s world. She further enumerated the value of yoga and its benefits in day to day life of every individual.

The function was attended by prominent people of Jammu, Advocates, Senior Citizen, students and public at large who paid rich tributes to Swamiji on his 21st death anniversary.
