By Asif Iqbal Naik , Kishtwar june 3: A deputation of People’s Democratic Party led by senior leader and former District president Shakir Siddiqui called on Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Saleem Mohammad and projected various demands of local people. The deputation apprised worthy Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar about the problems of people of far flung area of Marwah, Warwan. They deputation alleged that the education zone Marwah is totally defunct and accuses that the officer posted there are working under the political patronage are not performing their duties punctually. The people also complaint about their attitude towards general public which they termed as very harsh. The deputation also demanded adequate staff for the schools of Marwah & warwan. They also alleged that the sub-standard material has been used in construction of buildings under SSA and demanded probe in the constructions of all these buildings.
The deputation also alleged that the drivers of the vehicles plying on Kishtwar- Warwan route are charging exorbitantly and demanded that the fare of the vehicles be fixed. The Deputy Commissioner after giving a patient hearing to the deputation assured that steps will be taken for the fulfillment of the demands.
