Jammu.06 Dec : National Secular Forum is going to observe black day on 7th and 8th of December against the Vice Chancellor of Jammu University for completing his two year period in the University with a great failure rate because mass copying, tampering , corruption in DDE and Dictatorship has been taken place in this past two years. Also it is said that the black day in University will be observed on 7th of December and on 8th it will be in rest of Districts.
Regarding this the National Secular Forum is going is give awareness among the Jammuties to save Jammu University from such a Dictator and to fight for a local Vice Chancellor in future at University of Jammu.
Addressing the media by District president Mr. Surjit Choudhary claimed that in last two years mass copying has taken place during the B.ed examination, and tampering were taken place during the second year result evaluation. Still no action has taken against those miscreants who have played game with the university reputation.
Secondly in DDE, Mismanagement, massive corruption and late disbursement of studies material were observed giving a palpably clear of being harsh with the Students of this region in particular and public in general. Besides that University has granted the second installment of three lakh to the DDE for postage and telegram where such kind of facility is not provide to the student in DDE and an amount of RS 45000 for telephone bill etc.
Thirdly the authority has changed the criteria for Bed. As earlier the eligibility criteria was 45%. And now it is percentage “No bar”.
Also it can be said that always the Vice chancellor is denying to meeting with any student. And unreasonably hikes in fees. This is a clear reason that they are behind in getting a luxury accommodation without taking into the consideration of student problem. Among those who were present in the press Conference included, Surjit Choudhary, Joginder Thakur, Subash Kumar and Gurpreet Singh.
