Udhampur, June 7: Young Panthers president and MLA Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia today inaugurated the newly upgraded Govt. Higher Secondary School, Krimchi and also inaugurated a room at Govt. Girls Middle Scool in Krimchi.
Congratulating the people, Balwant Singh Mankotia said that it was due to the strong support of the people that he had been able to accomplish various developmental projects in the area. He said that the upgradation of High School to Higher secondary School has fulfilled a long pending demand of the people of area. Besides, Mr. Mankotia said that establishment of Jammu University campus at Krimchi would also bring higher education at the door steps of the people of the area.
“ This would also bring employment and business opportunities for the people of the area, but some vested interests are trying to mislead the people and mar the future of younger generations by spreading canards regarding the opening of Jammu University campus in distr4ict Udhampur especially Krimchi,” he said adding “these vested interests don’t understand that development of an area requires umpteen efforts but destroying it does not need any effort.”
Mr. Mankotia said that these are the same elements who have assured the development of their kith and kin only while neglecting the development of Udhampur constituency. He asked the people to expose these elements and support developmental initiatives of Panthers Party in Udhampur, which has managed many projects including JU campus, Devak Development project worth 708 lakhs, Black topping of city roads, Drinking Water augmentation project etc. for the people despite being in opposition.
Young Panthers president said that party has been supported by the people to the hilt and their continued support would ensure an equitable development of all the area in his constituency. He urged them to continue supporting him so that whatever little has been left is accomplished.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Bashir Ahmed Sumbria, ZEO(Retd), Rafiq Chandel, Amit Khajuria, Karnail Chand, Gopal Krishan Sarpanch.
They appreciated the efforts of Mr. Mankotia for development of the common masses especially the rural areas.
Mr. Mankotia announced two rooms for Hr. Sec School and another room for Girls Middle School besides development of school ground.
